Becky Murray - Employee Spotlight August 2024

Crownstone Equipment's Employee Spotlight for the month of August is Becky Murray. Becky is our Human Resources Manager, overseeing employee payroll and benefits, workers’ compensation, recruiting, and HR concerns. When Becky came to Crownstone two years ago, it was her first job within the heavy equipment industry, but she’s been working in HR for 13 years.

You’d be surprised to know that Becky is the modern-day Brady Bunch! Her blended family has 8 kids, ranging in age from 5-18, so there’s never a dull moment in her house. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with all the kids, reading a good book, and playing cornhole. In fact, you might even spot her at a cornhole tournament!

Becky’s favorite thing about the job is how no day is the same. Things can be crazy and busy, but that is what makes it interesting. When asked about her mentor, she said, “Working at Crownstone, I have had the privilege of working with many leaders who have helped me learn and grow with my managerial experience, and I am so grateful to have the chance to work with such a great team.” Since working at Crownstone, Becky also said that her job has taught her that “you never know what someone is going through. Sometimes employees come to you with things you had no idea they were dealing with; it’s a reminder to always be gracious and kind!”
